At the height of American political polarization hundreds of Iraqi Christians living in Detroit face deportation from the President they helped elect. Blessings of Liberty follows two families from this community awaiting their fates as they question everything they thought they knew about America. This film was my graduate thesis documentary from UC Berkeley’s Graduate School of Journalism.
